City of London Police is the National Police Lead for Economic Crime. In addition to operating the national fraud and cyber reporting centre on behalf of government and policing, City of London Police investigates serious and complex economic crime and provides advice and support to police forces undertaking their own investigations.
Its Economic Crime Academy is improving national and international capability in the investigation of financial and cyber crime through training for police forces, other law enforcement agencies and the private sector.
The Academy has trained delegates from a variety of sectors in countries across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas.
